Washed In The Lightness Of Being Alive, 2013

In this drawing I’ve used graphite, diamond dust, gouache, acrylic paint and sugar pearls overlaid with archival cut boards inspired by the Queen of Luxuria’s costume. This is part of a body of work produced by The Queen of Luxuria that celebrates living. The portrait is of a phenomenal woman in Chicago called Rosa Gaia Saunders.
