Washed In The Lightness Of Being Alive, 2013

In this drawing I’ve used graphite, diamond dust, gouache, acrylic paint and sugar pearls and over laid archival cut boards inspired by my Queen of Luxuria costume. This is part of a body of work produced by The Queen of Luxuria that celebrates living. This is a portrait of a phenomenal woman in Chicago called Rosa Gaia Saunders and is part of a series that document young women who are actively changing the world and inspiring others in the lives they are living.
