Performances & Exhibitions
Carron creates community engagement projects for neighborhoods and cities that start with listening and writing poetry. The poetry becomes a starting point for performance. She has an ongoing public performance practice and develops work responsively.
Most recently, she created four corners, an exhibition with four public performances in the city of Lincoln, U.K. that was curated by Andrew Bracey at General Practice exhibition space in May 2025. The exhibition included an interactive experience called Wall of Truth that was integrated into the fourth action in the city of Lincoln with the community who participated.
Upcoming Carron has a residency at Dampfzentrale, Switzerland to develop a new work called If I could understand a flower? This is a quote from the poet, Tennyson and inspired by the public monument at Lincoln Cathedral.

Curatorial Projects
Carron co-founded Out of Site Chicago in 2011. At the start of the pandemic she invited artists in the Out of Site community to create a live stream performance partnering with Experimental Sound Studio. As part of this production she invited one of her grad students and one of the international artists to collaborate. Since May 2020 the community has evolved into working as an artist collective and are engaged in monthly meetings. These meetings created the idea for Flow, embody • in site, an annual practice-led research symposium on public performance art practice organized by Out of Site artist collective.
ieke Trinks and Carron Little co-created and co-produced the Intercity project supporting four artists in Chicago to collaborate with four artists in Rotterdam for one year. This culminated in simultaneous live public performances in both cities that were also shared with the public in both cities. To watch the video documentation here.outofsite_chi is currently going on a retreat to reflect on our work and rethink and reimagine future programming.
